Supports families by providing a variety of services that provide temporary support and assistance.
S.O.A.R. Detroit
Recruit and train volunteers to tutor 3rd graders to ensure that they can read by the end of their grade level (30 students and 20 volunteers from November-April).
Gleaners Food Bank
Distribute perishable and non-perishable food (e.g. milk, vegetables, etc.) every second Wednesday of the month at Sampson Webber Academy.
Metropolitan Detroit Diaper Bank
Distribute diapers and personal items every second Wednesday of the month 10:00am-11:00am

Southwest Community Court
Provide placement for individuals who receive Community Service Judgements from the courts.
